So, having gone as far with the development of my 4/4 as I felt I wanted to go, I have decided to try another model of Morgan.

I've bought a 2009 Roadster (series 2)

Actually it's not just any series 2 Roadster, it is quite well known to some members on here.

Guessing game, It's Black with Mulberry interior, has black Minilite wheels, fitted with SSL RS front suspension and SSL 5 link rear suspension, Tarox brakes and has white roundels on the door. As a further clue, let's just say it seems to have a penchant for hill climbs in particular in Portugal.

Final clue, A previous owner was also quite well known on here!!

Anyway while you're trying to figure out who it used to belong to, I need lots of help getting to know more about Series 2 Roadsters in general so I'm afraid I will probably be bombarding TM with questions for a while, some of which will probably have been answered before but I'm not very good with the search function.

First question.

Where the heck is the OBD2 connecter. I've spent the best part of an hour upside down under the dash and I can't see it.

Any thoughts.

The series 1 roadster is under the dash on the left, approximately about the handbrake. It might be in the same location for the series 2.

On my S1 it was on a long lead and hidden behind the radio / heater box.
Welcome to the roadster club. Is it Nero?

If there was a prize, you would win it.

It is indeed Nero.

Thanks for the idea about the OBD plug, I'll have a look there tomorrow.

Bob, on my S1 it was a fly lead tucked up above the passenger footwell

Congratulations on the upgrade thumbs

Bob, it may well be cable tied up with the dash loom, out of view.
Hope you get lots of great miles with the car smile

I’m sure you will do it justice Bob! Nice to see you break cover and good to see it going to a good home. The OBD2 connector was just left of centre under the dash and up by the roll bar. I had to access it every now and again when the engine management light popped on. Always the same fault and always when overfilling with fuel. It was a warning about the tank fuel vapour system. Williams checked it several times and there was nothing amiss....just overly sensitive I guess! Easily reset with a reader.

Enjoy....and do let it have a sniff of Prescott every now and again!
