Neither am I,Jon. Surely it can’t be too difficult to give proper instructions for use and adjustment! Also we need advice as to how to get radio as well as Bluetooth music - it’s a €100k purchase here in ireland after all!!
Cheers! Very frustrating isn't it....

Richard it could also be because the bluetooth amp that drives four channels does not expose/declare a control that lets you adjust front/rear? So the smaller speakers fail to match the rear if they are different?
Just a thought.
If we can find the unit, the name and model then there is a chance that there is an App that will allow detailed setup that may assist?
Are you able to find the device type?

Are you able to find the device type? Exactly that yes, and doubt there are any configurables given what has been gleaned from the factory.

As always I write first and it takes a week or so for my brain to catch up.
I should have been more specific. When I refer to declaring a control I am talking about over Bluetooth rather than having a knob on it just in case I explained that badly. Is there any way you can find out a make or model of the box? Photos? What it broadcasts on BT when you go to connect to it?

First of all, one has to know what MMC has installed. If it is a 2 channel amplifier, then you have no fader. If you would connect 4 speakers to the two channel amplifier (without fader control - and two speakers per output) then you have to be careful that the total impedance does not fall to 2 ohms. Because then you can listen to 5 minutes of hot music before it grills the amplifier.

I imagine audio electronics is not MMC's niche skill. Nothing mentioned so far suggests other than two channel amplifier and haven't seen any bluetooth hookups that stream other than two channel audio anyway. If so absolutely no chance of external fader.
Heinz's impedance comments are relevant if front and rear speakers are just paralleled up to amplifier each side. Not just for total impedance load but, as already mentioned, for power transfer to each if front and rear speakers have impedance mis-match.
Simplest way to gain the flexibility CX owners appear to seek may be to junk the factory amp and fit Bluetooth/DAB car radio allowing dedicated connections to all four speakers.

With all the voices in my head could I please have a pair of them setup for headphones?
