Does anyone know how the cover housing the footwell light behind and below the steering wheel is secured? Mine has come loose on the right hand side and I can't see an obvious way to re-attach it

I'd like to know so I can remove the rather feeble LED and replace with modern, brighter ones!
I have a sneaking suspicion that they are stuck in place.

Alan, on my Roadster it appears to just be a strip of LED's mounted behind a slot cut in the column cover, pop riveted from behind

[Linked Image]

A bit easier to photograph is the passenger side, there is no posh outer cover on either
