The Forum seems a very good place for information and advice and as a retired Mech Engineer I hope to be able to contribute in the future..

Welcome - the Morgan is definitely more fun, and less rusty than a TR7!

Hello, the Roadster is replacing an AMG C63.. Lots of my friends have said WHY!!.. Well, to be honest although the C63 has huge power I find it a bit too good, but only in the sense that it does everything well. The Roadster is a completely different vehicle, what it lacks in refinement/handling etc it gives back with character.. The other issue with the C63 is that I am fed up to the teeth with every boy racer driving 1 meter off the rear or desperately trying to get past at any cost.. It takes away all the fun of driving...
The Roadster may well end up being a summer use vehicle, due to the fact that we live out in the sticks a bit and the lanes get filthy from tractor work... its the way of the countryside..

Hi Phil, if you were anywhere near Cedar Falls health centre on the A358 yesterday then my wife spotted you.... Its funny, we haven't seen a Morgan for years in our area, yet in the last 2 weeks since purchasing our Roadster we have seen five... weird.. The weather looks good for the next few days... nice Autumn motoring..

We collect our Amazon Green Roadster tomorrow ( Thursday).. so if you spot one in West Somerset it could be us..

Dave

Hi Dave,

If you get to Taunton I'll keep me eyes open for you, I live just south of the town, so we may have a chance to meet one day.

Paul.
