Please. Theft of a vehicle, not joy riding. Yes I agree - it's the same as he was killed by "friendly fire" ER NO HE WASN'T someone cocked up and murdered one of their own..so don't dumb it down. The yanks killed a number of our lads out in Iraq and it was reported in such a way, ludicrous term that it is.

One of my biggest fears as combat quickly becomes confusing and can be disorientating, making decisions in the heat of the moment you hope are correct not leading to failure or worse what is now referred to Blue on Blue.

My maternal Grandfather, CPO Frank Gynes, was serving on HM Submarine Oxley when it was sunk by HM Submarine Triton off Norway in the first week of WW2. My Grandmother wasn't told the true circumstances of his death until well into the 1950s.
