I bet Doris will let in for Wimbledon I suspect there is a lot more to be unveiled in this saga. This has been very badly handled by Australian authorities at all levels - Federal, State, and Tennis Australia.... And that appears to be the case. Novak has won his appeal and awarded costs. This saga has also served to highlight the injustice of some of our immigration policies. Refugees have been held in the same hotel as Djokovic for years. Certainly, there are issues surrounding the validity of his "Medical exemption" but a Visa was issued by our government signaling he was free to travel. Leaving the examination of that Visa till he arrived at midnight after 23 hours of travel, holding him at the airport, then revoking his visa at 4.30am is can I say, NOT Cricket. The "Djokovic" incident has done Australia's reputation no favours, and it's not over yet.... So glad this is all over. No doubt Djokovic played the system for all it was worth but Australia needs to clean up its political and immigration game....

. The reality is now the French Open may be closed to him and Lacoste are reviewing their continued sponsorship. Lets hope that he is not given a platform for his anti vax views or a following to rally behind him.
Most decent people would have left of their own volition, knowing what we know about the circumstances surrounding his visa and travel arrangements before hand.
Maybe with hindsight they could have handled it better, Australia had the sense to do the right thing when under the full glare of world media.

I reckon the England cricket board ought to sign Djokovic up for the team. After all, it took the Australians more than a week to get him out.

Well, the Australian women's cricket seems to be going OK as well....
But England women are showing far more fight than the men's team, they are putting some effort in.

Well, the Australian women's cricket seems to be going OK as well....
But England women are showing far more fight than the men's team, they are putting some effort in. Fabulous innings by England captain, Heather Knight. 168 NOT OUT I think. It has been great TV viewing but all eyes will be on the tennis tonight....
