The Elise is dead, long live the Elise, or perhaps I should say a civilised Ginetta. Looks superb and a relatively simple spec., but like many of these start-ups, will it survive? I hope so. That just about sums it up. I wonder if they have the chassis tuning skills that Lotus have though. I certainly think that there is a gap in the market for a true sports car that isnt as ordinary as an MX5, Supra, Boxter etc.

Looks very sharp. Great value if build quality and reliability are up to snuff because we know that's been the pitfall for some no matter how good they look.....

I’m really surprised with how local this is to us, that I didn’t know about this/ haven’t been asked to make anything for it
We do prototype work for a lot of the “names” locally and some further afield too…

Great looks and plenty of fenestration. ![[Linked Image]](https://wellsmotorcars.com/assets/img/media/wells-vertige-ll-0034.jpg) Is that a retro wind down window handle I see or the door release ![[Linked Image]](https://wellsmotorcars.com/assets/img/media/wells-vertige-ll-0108.jpg) Love the clean, simple almost retro cockpit as well.

Good luck too 'em, but they need to be careful with claims like "a 100% British supply chain" I'm afraid in this day and age fully certified & traced back that is impossible Surely that just means they've bought it Via a UK company rather than made in UK, unless Sony have relocated & we now have African Rosewood (for the gear knob) growing here. Having said that I love the look of it. Sort of reminds me of my Original Lotus Europa with added curves.

I thought the same when I first looked at the photos

A very nice looking car but, after all the effort that went into making it so nice, what a shame the designers didn't consider the placing of our horrible number plates. It really needs an original small Italian one !!
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg
