This is a beautiful low mileage car with all the bits and pieces in a wonderful colour if anybody is looking for one.

Some Morgans with that dash get the offset rev-counter and that would drive me nuts.

It's odd because my 2012 had the revcounter centred over the cowl.

Yes, my 2009 Sport was centred over the cowl too and that does seem right.

Nearly bought an S2 Elise from them a few years back. 15 miles from me. A bit too close!

Aargh! Sacrilege...They’ve closed the doors onto the hood flaps!

That’s a project for someone more talented than me, I.e. a mechanical/automatic means of lifting the hood flaps whilst the door closes. Any takers?

Get a Butler

I glued a couple of magnets in specific places on the underside of the flaps. Then I glued magnets on the inside of the hood to match. They were small powerful rare earth types.
This allowed me tonflip the flap upwards and it stayed there. Even better it formed a kind of gutter so rain didn't enter the car when I opened the door. Onc inside a sharp tap on the inner magnets released the flaps back down.
Worked really well.
