[quote=Barry M]The P6 is a joy to drive, as the two boys amply demonstrated. I have done some mods to mine .

If you tried a series 1 then they are definitely a bit snug. S2 onwards they moved the doors/wing line further out to give more cockpit room. When I was first looking for an Aero I tried an S1 and the gap between the edge of the wheel and the door meant a bit of oppo on a wet roundabout was a challenge as well! I tried an S2 and the difference made it a lot better.

Compared to an S4 onwards and the CX they show their age but are a wonderful and great value package. I still like the low gangster hood and flat boot with the knock off wheels on the S1 as a style statement. I have seen some people fit a diffuser in the rear lower gap, looks good.

It makes a lot of sense that they released the new CX platform with a Trad style body. I always thought the S1 was closest to the trad with some added natural progression.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

The biggest difference between the Aero and the P6 to me is the space the P6 has. This greatly increases the comfort level and with the Comfort seats, the cabin really is a nice place to sit.

Can’t remember the last time someone called me a boy - thanks 😂

Did you add a limited slip diff?

You are boy's compared to me for sure :-)
I don't want to publicly discuss the mods but the P6 now has 100 extra bhp and the exhaust sounds amazing.
The main reason for the tune was to improve the torque delivery. The extra power came free with the tune and the exhaust work.
All work done by Litchfield with uprated suspension to follow when parts arrive.
I am still debating whether an LSD would be worth having as I don't do much track work these days. However there is a Quaife unit I have my eye on...
The brakes were always excellent on my P6 (just lucky I guess) and I will only upgrade if I find the need to over time. The car is so light, it needs less braking force than a normal car, even from speed.

Glad you enjoyed it :-)

That Plus Six almost exactly a year ago has reignited my lust for an Aero 8 (after first driving one at RTCC in 2005!) so hopefully i'll be an owner soon.
Do you think a similar Aero 8 video would be of interest?

We can always do with more videos!
