I agree that it has an "interesting look". Does anyone know if the material for the seat back for this option is made of some kind of plastic or metal? I am in the US and will be defining the specs for my Morgan order soon (hopefully). Unfortunately, there are no cars of that model here to look at.

Okay, that clarifies, especially as it comes at the same cost as leather backing ... leather is the better choice for the seat back. Thank you

I do wonder if they scratch easily with stuff stored in the back YES! My seat backs are painted body colour which I really like as it brings the exterior of the car into the interior. I was concerned about the paint getting scratched so I had Krazy Horse get them covered with Paint Protection Film so no scratches. Very happy with them.

It's grainy plastic that's not very pretty unless you take the black leather seats. It's a personal opinion and I'm not asking to agree with me. If you have the seat backs painted in body colour then they are a smooth composite/plastic as in the picture at the top of this thread. I had mine covered with PPF - see my other post in reply to Gaston.

I had mine covered with PPF - see my other post in reply to Gaston. I had the backs of the seats painted by a bodybuilder. it cost me a quarter of the price of the option. I didn't think of the PPF movie. I will do it because the paint is fragile. Thanks for the advice.

Thanks everyone ... so far, I am still looking at the UK price list for defining my specs. The US list is supposed to come over the next months, hopefully without too much of a premium and structured similarly. The idea to add PPF to the painted backs is great, makes them a contender for me again as I was worried about those scratches. Has anybody input on scratches with the leather seat back? It is very sensitive and does the "soft grain" vs "pebbled" make a difference?

Hi Perry, thanks for the input. I was able to see and test drive a Plus Four earlier this year at a Morgan dealer when I was in Switzerland for skiing. That one had the soft grain leather and leather seat backs. They looked and felt great but, of course, that doesn't tell me how they work out in actual use. The dealer had also lots of samples there for the various option but getting supplement input from owner is great.
