I dropped in to Berrybrook Morgan, my local supplier of some of those little things ( bobbins for a perrished exhaust mount) to keep my 4/4 rattle free). A couple of those were fetched out from the stores for a tenner and I was ready to be on my way. But Neville the amiable guy at the sales dask just happened to be bringing into the showroom this BMW 3 litre Morgan machine I would happily shell out the £92,995 - for had I the means to act on impulse. And what a stunning Morgan this is. The engine note so sweet - someone is going to cherrish it very soon and I will have lost my chance!
I am heading across the channel in a day or so for my daughter's belated wedding to a Frenchman. Mrs T will be in the navigators seat beside me and we shall be taking the trip in easy stages over the next ten days. Engine oil changed, grease gun at the ready, breathalizers, spare light bulbs, GPS, etc all stowed away neatly. I can forget about the Plus Six once I am in France !

Enjoy the trip Graham, but you don’t need the breathalyser any more, it was officially scrapped in late 2019.

and a “UK” sticker mounted?
and I also believe that the yellow vests should be easily accessible rather than “stowed away”.

Last edited by Deejay; 16/05/22 02:16 PM. Reason: yellow vests added

Yep, in theory you have to be able to reach them and put them on before exiting the vehicle. Ours live under the seat.

When I had my seats retrimmed, I got him to put a full width pocket behind each seat back - holds lots of tat, as well as the Hi-Viz.

Thanks for those reminders. Now got the high viz jacket and UK sticker deployed. I could use pockets on back of the seats. Could hang a plastic bag over the head rest pillars temporarily maybe ?

Yeah, I thought that there was a fair bit of 'wasted space' behind the seat backs, so had the pockets sewn in. They have proved very useful.

I have a bright orange cloth bag (from a camping shop) to store the high viz vests, a head torch etc when in France.
Easy to spot and retrieve from behind the seat.
