Away in the 4/4 for ten days to celabrate the happy event. Amazing venue combined with a scenic route to Sanary sur Mer via Plymouth, Roscoff and Ardech Gorge - Lazy journey homebound now begins over three days.

I've been watching "Escape to the Chateau" where Dick Strawbridge and his wife are renovating a French chateau and they do weddings there.

Ah- Haa - Yes we watch the Strawbridge family programmes too. Most entertaining as it is our dear daughter has the good fortune to have wedded a young French man from the Bandol area on the med. coast. The real French wedding is a very different affair and carries on into the early hours. Fun and games had by all. Feeding with lots of intermittent snacks.

Now heading homewards in easy stages - Driving along the high road that clings to the Ardesch Gorge today. Spotted some Alpine swifts. Amazing road - thankfully not too buzy this early in the Year.
