In a reply to another post I came up with a theory that Morgan sales could be slipping due to the age of their market, ie the market is dying off so.....

1. What age were you when you first thought of buying a Morgan?
2. What age were you when you first bought one?
3. How old are you now? (lady owners are exempt from answering this one if they so wish)

1. Young, too long ago for me to remember but possibly 11/12 when my Dad had a race with one in his Hillman Hunter GLS
2. Deposit paid in 1988 car sold off build list frown in 1994

1) if you mean dreamed of buying one, probably about 17 or 18. Seriously thought of buying one - about 35 (when I bought my TVR. At the time I could only have afforded a very ratty mog).

1. Since 1968 when I went to the Earls Court Motor show with my
older cousin and saw the 'new' Plus 8. It was a dream then,
and still is. Kept thinking about going onto the waiting list
but realised there were too many other priorities.
2. 58 Get it now before I am too old to enjoy it.
3. 58 No regrets whatsoever. I feel more relaxed and I put that
down to part of ownership.
