Bud,
agreed.... Sadly the race is very unlikely to be wet. But it may well be a good one. Hamilton on the Podium? Very probably. Hamilton first? Very unlikely.

Yup, one of the best - it must be the first time a Chinese driver topped P3 albeit for a short time. I'd like to see a Ferrari one two at Silverstone this year, well I'm not a fan of booing so that way we don't get any as both their drivers are nice characters . Verstopfen will crash out in an effort to prove he really is the World Champion despite the last race of the seasons rigged result and Lewis will get 3rd with Perez 4th I think Schumacher and Ricardo will be saloon car drivers next year..

Well it warms the cockles of me heart old chap to read a positive spin on the Red Team, needless to say I totally agree however, I can't see it myself. I think Max will get away perhaps leaving the Ferraris to fight over 2nd & 3rd but boy do I hope I'm wrong. It was very nice to see all three of the young guns chatting away off camera, such a nice thing to see. I do feel for Ricardo, he is usually such an upbeat chap but his time is certainly running out as is Strolls especially if daddy should decide to walk away from AM, so do I go for the full bottle of something made in Tuscany or do I share the Memsahibs bottle of Orangeboom?

It would be good to see Lando or George drive over the top of Verstopfen as a crowd pleaser and poetic justice.. The F2 crowd demonstrated the technique already this meeting

Sitting here waiting. I would love to see a Ferrari in the top 3, I would not mind which to be fair. Both have been working hard this year and are among the most likeable of the drivers. I think George getting past Lewis at his home/fav circuit would be a real marker but expect that is a step to far. I have worked out what happened last season. Someone said "the way Verstaaapppennn keeps going off track and treating it like a contact sport I can see him winning the World Rally Championship". So they setup the last part of the year with that script for the new program owners
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Great practise, great race, best circuit and brilliant result So much better than the mickey mouse street circuitry like Monaco et al.

So glad at the end that I had a really nice bottle of Rioja in the rack!!! What a race, glad that nobody was hurt and what about the level of overtaking and excelence well, all apart from the Ferrari team strategy. Will those chaps never learn, I would love to be a fly on the wall during Leclerc's de brief, I wouldn't mind betting he will spit feathers. But for that total cock up ( again ) there was a real chance of a one two still, at least Ferrari won and it couldn't have happened to a nicer chap.
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg
