I've been helping a friend find a replacement flasher relay for his M3W. We have tried various options and this is what we found. Top left: 30W flasher 10R027024. This is the standard flasher and works well until it breaks. Top right: PureTek CF14 JL-02. This works well and also incorporates a potentiometer to vary the flash rate. Bottom left: PureTek CF13 JL-02. This doesn't work with the M3W. Bottom centre: Perei 60W flasher EC0100-6-1-AA. This works but flashes 120 times a minute so is not legal. Bottom right: Perei 60W flasher EC0101-6-2-AA. This also flashes 120 times a minute so is not legal. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/06/30/Flasher-Units.png) The CF13 & CF14 flashers look identical but they have different pinouts. The take home message is to look for a CF14 flasher when replacing the original. I got excellent customer service from PureTek (after originally buying the wrong unit ) so have no hesitation in recommending them. Just search eBay for 'PureTek CF14'. Adjustable ones are £7 and non-adjustable ones £6, both with free (and very speedy) p&p.

Thanks Andy, that's very helpful and saves me doing similar research. I'm wondering why I purchased that TSM. I must tell Krazy Horse to update their advice.

You got a TSM as a spare that could be a life saver for your M3W in the future, if not just now. Until Alistair produces "a better TSM", failure of this small component makes life very difficult for the M3W owner, it is one of the "stopper items". The fact that you may not have needed it for the fault you had does not mean that you wasted your money entirely. Many indicator, ignition and hazard light related faults are caused by the TSM. The indicator relay is usually more reliable, although maybe not in your case but at least you have a TSM for diagnosis. Another informative top post Bunny.

For info, Krazy Horse are also looking at manufacturing a replacement TSM.

You seem super super electronic knowledgeable. I’m pretty good myself . Lol I can’t ask anyone and expect decent technical advice . So I will try you. I lost my dip / low / normal headlights. There’s no 12v at the 15 amp fuse /block . Key on , light switch On The high beams work , but only on pull towards wheel mode. They do not do anything/lock on if stalk pushed forward . That’s prior crazy ? problem . I have voltage at light sw. and both idiot lights in dash light . Dip lite and high light idiot lights Any idea or experience? Or ideas . I’ve switched out my stalk , my relays , and TSM. What’s sending 12 v to that fuse ? Thanks

Can you tell me please where should this PureTek CF14 JL-02 be placed in our 3-Wheelers? Where's the relay it' supposed to replace? Mine is a 2020 unit, and when I open my fuse box area I can't find where does this relay go

Mine is a 2020 unit, and when I open my fuse box area I can't find where does this relay go Mine is a 2012 car and the orange relay is underneath the main relay tray, on top of a shiny black box. It's the orange thing in this photo: ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/07/24/Flasher-Relay-Location.jpg) I guess that yours being a very late model car may be completely different?
