Take it off Peter before you commit. On my Plus 4 the badge has indented the paint, so I couldn't fit the older badge.
You should still be able to get the older badge from MMC or the dealers, but expect to pay around £65.

Apologies if this transgresses Forum rules, but that's good advice thanks which others may want to note. Under very bright light I can just make-out burnishing marks in the paint on the cowl around the badge, so I reckon it may have been off already. I've tried the dealers (UK and abroad), but not yet MMC, so I'll check that.

Mine was a new-old-stock item sourced from one of the ex-dealers lost in the recent "cull" (they only had one left, unfortunately). Believe it was designated for the rear panel of an Aero S1. Trad cowl badges are no use, as they're all designated "4/4, +4 or +8". Took a bit of cautious modifying to fit the curve of the Roadster cowl - but it's a much better quality item than the current/recent offering IMHO, and I'm well pleased with the result (see my profile pic).
Worth trying a well-known auction site for genuine ex-dealer new/old stock? You never know!

The Roadster cowl badge from that era doesn't say Roadster, for obvious reasons.
The other thing is that the one I bought for my 2012 Plus 4 came flat, so needed bending to fit the cowl. There's a "How To" on TM.
I wish I could have transferred it to my 2016, but the paint is too badly indented without serious work.

I sold the one I had a couple of years ago, and it went to the USA.

Tried Uncle Melvyn? THIS may be the one you're looking for. No pic - and helluva price!
