On Friday 12th August 2022 my wife and I took the tour at the Morgan Factory (a belated birthday present).
The tour was extremely interesting and informative, so much so that even swmbo swmbo enjoyed it!

Here's a few images from the site.

Wish I had one of the 27 made / sold

This was in the workshop - not sure what was being worked on or why - Maybe Graham can enlighten us?

As we walked up the hill, towards the gates, we heard the low rumble of a V8, and this hove into view,,,,,

Apparently it had been brought in from Bahrain for a service.... and an upgrade to GTN spec (if I heard correctly)

There were plenty of Plus 4's / Plus 6's in build.

The guide commented that the site was really busy as there were lots of cars being moved around to make space for the Super 3 builds. I noticed (but didn't comment) that there were a lot of customer cars (already registered) dotted around the site, a few were parked on the field with sun reflecting covers over them. I'm surmising these are the cars being worked on for the brake recall....

I did spend quite a bit in the Morgan shop.... managed to pick up one of the last in stock (photo from morgan.com)

A day after the tour I recieved an email from Morgan asking for feedback and advertising some other "experiences" - One really caught my eye and I'm going to chip away at swmbo and look into may be taking a Driving Tour

I'd recommend anyone, whether they are "into" Morgans or not, to take the tour - If swmbo enjoyed it, I'm sure you will too!

ah, a GT spec upgrade to a Coupe... when launching the Aero GT iirc Morgan explicitly said they'd not be offering an upgrade to existing cars - which seemed odd.
I guess money talks!

The CX-T is probably having a brake master cylinder and swirl pot added.

+4+ according to the history books I think there were 26, with two spare bodies (both of which were subsequently used).

Not factory built and not found on the list of British Motor Museum Morgans. A mystery.

I posted about the +4+ convertible prototype model at Gaydon in 2010. The thread is well worth a read, particularly the contribution by David Hunt who designed it: Museum Mystery Morgan Model

It wasn't easy to spot back then, whether it is still on display now I don't know.

The leaflet for the TW model, which differs from the Gaydon one, was mentioned by Andrew in this thread: Another Mystery Morgan
