jono you must have got used to the feel of the euro box cars power steering but ill keep my 4/4 with the king pins to grease the hard springs and air con open top motoring 50 mpg thats what morgans are about its a fun car not my every day transport

Evening all , thanks for the replies and the encouragement to post more. I’ve had a long day, thunderstorms in Herefordshire on way home. This may sound daft, but my wife and I get in the Morgan tonight, take off with a small amount of wheel slip on the gravel, and power the long stretching bonnet into the rain on the A49. The LED lights shine the way , heated screen clears the slight condensation and the air-con, on a slight heat setting clears the damp air. The roof takes its convex shape at speed as the noise of wind and engine rises. Even the drive home in turgid weather had an air of romance about it, a feeling of film noir. Only in our Morgan.

Lovely to hear Jono. Look forward to sharing similar experiences when my Plus Four arrives. Was glad you said the roof goes convex with some speed, and not concave! Didn’t think that was likely but is therefore a chance my head won’t be in constant contact with the mohair skin leading to wet head syndrome!

Hello Jono, a good positive posting for the Plus 6, thank you. We have a early 2020 Plus 6, like you we traded in our Trad ( a Roadster ), and boy, what a difference between models, the Plus 6 is such a nice car all round and like you we dont have issues with the seats, I find them firm but comfortable and I am 6ft 1", my wife is a shortie and also likes the seats.. We have had the brake master cylinder changeout and the swirlpot fitted. Presently the car is back in the factory while they sort a major judder from the wipers, this is frustrating, but the dealer and the factory have been good and we hope to have it back soon.

I picked up the lovely G from work in the old white Mog a few nights ago, a lovely warm summer night, and we headed into the vineyards for a nice dinner and then home later in that warm air. G understands it would not be the same if I'd picked her up in the Pug. The Morgan made it special.
