Hello all
My 2022 Plus Four only has a USB charger (under the dashboard at the passenger's side). There no 12V socket that I can find.
It would be useful to have a 12v socket for something like tyre air pump etc.
Any suggestions about adding a 12v socket please.
Many thanks.

No wiring diagrams or schematics published for CX models to my knowledge and I suspect there never will be. You will need to go back to basics.
Probably best making such a socket permanently live with suitable fuse say 15 amp. You could tap off the feed to existing USB socket since that will be 12 volts but you may need to increase fuse rating. Not familiar with CX series but the fuse box should be labelled. Another possibility is to re-purpose an unused circuit for an option not taken up, heated seats for example, as the wiring will already be in loom.

My PlusFour MY 2022, built at the end of 2022 and delivered 2023 has a dual USB socket and no 12V plug. So now, at the 1500 km inspection, they install an extra 12 V socket (eg for the trimester) and a magnetic connector for a CTEK trickle charger. I believe they changed it during 2022.

I manufactured a small sub harness which I connected directly to the battery (with in line fuse) which permits interchangeable connection of 12V Hella socket or connection of trickle charger. Took me about an hour to make and fit. I use it for keeping tyre pressures optimised via Ring compressor (BTW, tyre pressures on a P4 with wire wheels need regular attention) and it’s plugged into a trickle charger when the car isn’t used for more than two weeks. The later is essential if you have a tracker as they draw a parasitic load from the battery.

Hi All New here. Great to be here. In answer to the question you could try this https://amzn.eu/d/9CPR93c which plugs into the USB and has the cigarette lighter socket on the end Cheers

I would however be very wary of using that adapter fed from a USB socket. The USB source need to be 2 amp and even then the 12 volt output socket supplies less than one amp! Better to fit a dedicated 12 volt connector (Hella/DIN type far superior) and wire into any solid brown (permanently live) cable you can find under dash or engine bay, adding a 15 amp fuse. Any auto electrician should be able to hook up such but ensure in any case battery is disconnected first.
