Sadness.
Seen from abroad, this person inspired respect. My condolences to the English.

I for one had a bit of a tear in my eye. I liked the Queen.

Life goes on, long live the king.

Her Majesty had few enough occasions to smile. But when I was appointed MBE, (unintentionally) I made Her laugh.
RIP.

As a proud Irishman, I recall her magesty’s visit to Ireland when she addressed the gathering at Dublin Castle in Irish and mentioned that there were somethings that she wished had been done differently and some not at all, I thought a) it was difficult for her to say so but b) a wonderful gesture of friendship
It’s sad to see her passing - well done a good and faithful servant!

I am not Royalist, but I am a Monarchist, and QE2 did the Country proud in her long reign. A sad loss to the everyone but sceptical about the future.
