Hello everyone.

My name is Erik and just joined the forum. I have many questions regarding the cush drive and the S&S motor. From what I've read so far they are not reliable or have most of the gremlins been sorted out. I have seen the Beasley mods but has the motor itself been problematic? I see that S&S has taken it out of production. Thanks- Erik

Welcome to TM Erik.
Best to post your questions in the 3 Wheeler section - you'll get plenty of answers there smile

Hi Erik and welcome to TM. I owned a 2016 M3W for 2.5 years covering 9000 trouble free miles. I never messed with the very tight belt tension from new though.

The engine is generally very robust but transmission problems involving the cush drive rubbers and eventually clutch area seem to arise after a while. To an extent it seems to relate to how much you rag it.

Phil Bleazey is the man to see, and as suggested the Three Wheeler sub forum for further questions.

Erik, welcome to TM.
I have a 2020 M3W, and love it. There is lots of info on this site, the best way is to use google to search for it.
The S&S motor seems to be reasonably reliable for most people, but the Cush drive has to be considered a consumable device and the Beasley mod seems to help with this, both because of mechanical improvements, and because it make the rollers easily replaceable. I plan to do this at some point in the next couple of years.

Yes, the Bleazey Mod for the Centa Drive is excellent. I have a 2019 and glad I put in the mod since my rollers were on their way out at 2500 miles.

Welcome to the Forum; quick question have you actually purchased your M3W or are you doing your due diligence before purchase?

The Morgan Three Wheeler site has some great information:

https://www.mtwc.co.uk/the-5-speeder/

Especially the 5 Speeder Buyers Guide:

https://www.mtwc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Final-150.pdf

As said above the folks on here will be help and offer advise.
