Anyone else having problems with images in posts not being displayed? .... historical images are fine but everything members have posted in the last few hors just appear as an icon with 'linked image' in brackets next to it.

If it's only me I'll rake about in my setting and see what I've pressed by accident 🙂

Cheers

K

I have had it in the past but not currently - I found logging into the TM image site sorted it then, maybe it was coincidence but it worked.

Yes, I experience it in the same way. I wanted to look at the pictures again that show the difference in ground clearance between the Ford transmission and the Mazda transmission. I was sure I saw them but I couldn't find them again. I thought, damn, which thread was it? And then I saw that the crucial picture is no longer there like some others. Instead it says "linked image".

Okay for me.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I don't have any problem with you. You may be from Aberdeen but that's OK.

There are occasional linked images (not on tm-img) posted by RichardV6 and a couple of others that just appear as a blank space for me. I put that down to a security setting I may have set in Chrome... smile

Graham, thank you very much for your comment! At first I thought it might also depend on the browser used. But I was deceived. I wanted a system to detect when images are coming and when they are not...logged in or logged out, Safari or Chrome. But that was an aberration.
In the meantime it looks like when the images don't come, I just have to reload the page several times and then suddenly they are there.
In the first post of Rog on the topic ground clearance...which I linked above sometimes not all images in one post appear, then again they do. Although e.g. Rog will probably use the same service for all his images?
On page 2 I see one image of Rog and after reloading the page I see two images instead of "linked image". With the pictures of the other posters it is similar it should be only an example.
It doesn't seem to be really logical at the moment.

But I got IOS 15.7 on the iPad a few days ago and since Apple has security stress at the moment it might have something to do with it? I will try it later on the PC and on this iPad I clear the cookies and try again.

Image, which device/OS/ browser do you use?
