Indeed, but with a couple of days still to go on the auction I expect it'll go up a fair bit from here. My guess is it's worth 26 to 28k?

Is £30,750 + buyers fee a good price for what looks like an immaculate Zetec 4/4?

Does anyone know what a 4/4 with a Plus 8 chassis is? The auctioneers have made a big play of it.

The long door 4/4 started out with a narrower chassis. I don't remember the timing of the changes, would have to look it up, but at some stage the chassis was standardised across the Trad range.

Before that, I believe that you could order the wider chassis on the 4/4.

That's the simple version.

Hmm. More than I'd want to pay for a Zetec car. I'd want a Duratec engine for £30k I think, but maybe I'm being a bit picky.
