I cannot remember if this has been flagged before. It seems that Alvis are making new cars with old parts and using their drawings archive to good effect. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-63498606

Paul
Thanks to Ian Simpson some of us did a tour of Red Triangle Services last year. Most of their work is maintaining current cars for owners, many of which are now getting a bit long n the tooth (owners and cars!)
There was one car displayed that was indeed a "recreation" of an existing design. I will try to dig out photos because I do have them somewhere and post later.
Looking under the bonnet the engine bay did look like a 1930s car BUT the carbs were in fact fuel injectors in disguise and you could see a lamda sensor in the exhaust. The dashboard looked pretty original but changed to ensure that it complied with modern regulations. Other things like crash protection and deformable structure creep in under the "limited production" rules I guess.
It looked interesting ......... but at a price!

Very nice. Have they improved the brakes?

Simon may I ask how many people are in your team/business? You seem to achieve lots of plates in the air at any given time.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I remember that. It was an impressive car, even if way out of my budget. Good visit and lunch (though I broke the Alfa on the way home ).
