I know what the originals were from..

I've spent the last 12 months trying to source them.
They are no longer available anywhere.

I have an aftermarket motor and cable solution that will be able to be fitted and will work, but its not quite a like for like fit- hence why I need a car to prototype on....

I'm not MMC- I don't just guess how parts will fit... hide

What were they from out of curiosity?

when my passenger one went, snapped cable as it had corroded with lack of use, it was a Fiesta unit but I think a bespoke set of bowden cables wound on to it or modified originals. Splined Hub in Oundle did mine a few years back.

Will do, Simon from SiFab is still working on a replacement. Is window not working an MOT failure?
Cheers

An electric window not working is NOT and MOT failure - just an annoyance, particularly in relation to the sound of the side exit exhausts!

Remove the plasic shroud think its four screws have a look inside if your not confident a good auto electrician the type that recon starters and altenators will fix it for you even if you buy a similar motor and switch the innards. The bowden cables can be bought at various length from any motorbike shop. If you run a series 1 you have to dig about a bit the factory is no help at all and the other guys who sell some spares wont tell you what they came off....

We don’t tell you what the parts are from because 90% of the time they are modified from OE
And also our knowledge is hard won, I for example have 22 years experience with Morgan and if we disappear, and the factory are no hope- where does that leave you as the owners?
