Today there is a MMC Facebook posting: the new PlusFour is the ideal car for the french Riviera.

Oh, my Plus4 is our tourer. Snow, hail and rain in Britain, crossing Stelvio and Umbrail and a fast Tourer at the German Autobahn.

So, just deep pockets, but I think the CX doesn‘t fit me.

Christ alive, what is the world coming to. HFS would be turning in his grave, If anything is signifying the death of MMC it's a cup holder. Has anyone asked MMC how much the R&D department have spent on the design of this cupholder?

Bought a Librands one when I first got my Mog, to keep the Mrs happy. Used it once, Mrs threw tea down her front on every bump and it's sat in the dining room every since.....

It‘s not only the cupholder.

And you have a woodgrain dash with a proper glove box !

And I have a wood gear stick knob I made on my old ML8 lathe. Unlike the original cold alloy knob, gripping an ice lolly, its made to fit my wide shape palm and never feels cold to the touch.
Drifting back towards the true thread I am surprised no one has yet made a cup holder gimballed to swing in syncrony with any G force (even inverted the drink would not spill to fly away and out of your soft top).

The complete dashboard is a conversion from the German specialist "Matthias Kauffelt".

In the meantime I also ordered his ivory switch levers for my Lucas switches.

I have to say he is a nice guy. I asked him how I can resolve problem with a small piece of lacquer that came off on the lid of my glove box.

He asked me to send him the lid and repainted it - FOC!!!

Important to know is: I told him that the dashboard was bought by a former owner of my car ten years ago.
