Being both a fan of all that is LeMans, having enjoyed the good fortune to visit both for the 24 hrs, the Classic and that Porsche and Morgan interests have spanned quite a few decades of my life, I too found it to be a rather interesting series. I have watched it from series one. That which kinda captivated me was that any one of us who might fancy we might be (have been) skilled drivers at any time, had we Fassbenders media appeal, could imagine that we might be in the position that he was at the start of the series, which for me provided added interest in his progress..?

Yeah well OK so our live`s as we have enjoyed them may well be a long way away form that of Fassbender but it is good to dream is it not ? As for the reality of our driving skills, yeah well I suspect room for a lot of imagination there too...?

I have seen him covered in some of the races but had missed the back story, although was aware Patrick Dempsey had a hand in his involvement. Will dig out some of the other episodes from the beginning. Thanks for sharing Luddite.

Interesting for a Luddite such as I to see the way that the imagined best of the best can struggle to resolve a supposed issue with a machine..?
