I'll let you know once the hole saw arrives. Why not buy some ready made holes I heed to get a roundtoit first to do that. The bar man at the Irish Pub in Den Haag where we would watch the then 5 nations used to say on seeing an empty guiness galls "Can I be takning the air out of that". Happy days

Did some rough calculations and our engines consume air, allowing for volumetric efficiency, at around 380 cubic feet/minute at full chat. That would empty an average double garage of air in less than six minutes!

Been raiding Screwfix today, watch this space Did you outrun the security guard on the door No but I easily beat the guy on the counter terminal trying to find a part number by using one of their snazzy tablets on public side. A real step forward from the books, pens and pads of the past.

Completed airbox mods. ![[Linked Image]](https://i.imgur.com/eNFLTh6.jpg) Existing 100mm hole fitted with 45° duct fitting and slant cut short section of pipe. Extra outward facing 75mm hole fitted with severely chopped down 90° fitting, both to interface with side louvres to pull in cold air. Total inlet area 123cm 3 and greater than OE. In retrospect I could probably have managed with just 100mm hole. Will be testing tomorrow all being well. Induction noise much reduced is the only observation so far as nothing being pulled from above transmission.
