Last Monday we ran a Regularity timing point in the depths of Glen Fruin for HERO's "Le Jog". Normally we would have expected an entry of around 100 cars, but this year the entry was only 49, many from Europe. In the end only 42 made it through our timing point. A sign of the times perhaps but also a sign that possibly there are now too many events on the calendar?

I`m pleased that you found interest in the vid guys, Truth be told I watched it with the sound down as SWMBO was watching the news. thus I was unaware of the quality of musical accompaniment. Sorry. I was impressed with the scenery along the journey thinking the film crew had done a really nice job.

Max, sorry to have missed the chance to see the cars and grab a few pics of the Le Jog mob as they passed through. I knew neither the date nor the route.

The Glen Fruin road is dangerous and potentially very fast road for the unwary and can suck you in and as such is regularly policed. I have witnessed a couple of would-be racers with the blues & two`s chasing in HOT pursuit. I much prefer the single track Glan Douglas route between the Lochs, far less ...err..hectic..
