To answer seriously again, my days in rehearsal rooms or listening to very loud music at home are also over. My physical hearing has fortunately proven to be stable. Even a nasty hearing loss and loud tinnitus experience in the mid 90's was successfully treated, not without my active contribution and not residually, but in such a way that it doesn't bother me as much as it could. I think that my hearing experience and taste for certain sound preferences could be developed better and better into old age. In this context, the word noise management takes on a different meaning. My listening to music, whether classical or jazz or rock wants to be fulfilled more with good sound than with sheer volume...even if volume in younger days also had a claim to good sound. After this big digression I would like to come back to the topic of the thread. In a Morgan, probably whether Trad or CX, I can't imagine noise management doing much. I think that noise management in a normal car with closed windows can compensate for the "background noise". But an open Morgan where the biggest opponent is the very loud wind it will not be able to do much. That said, I'm curious if Sennheiser can offer primarily good sound. In a Morgan regardless of NM, it depends much more on whether you can enjoy good sound at all. In the Morgan it is not about subtle refinements but about the powerful overtones against the wind. I would very much like Sennheiser to do so because I like the brand.

T`would seem to me hat a high end sound system in a Trad Morgan is about as useful as an ash tray on a motor cycle, other than for bragging rights. I have a Bose sound system in my tin top, or so it tells me via the name printed on the speakers, though in truth I rarely if ever have it on while enjoying a countryside drive, much preferring to listen to the sound symposer which transmits induction noised into the cabin. I guess with my primary interests being mechanical I like to listen to the machine operating, my old +8 minus it`s rearmost silencers rumbles along quietly and roars like a bull if I stamp on the loud pedal, which for me is perfect for enjoyment of my Morgan, which also has radio fitted and which I imagine is inaudible while in motion, but it does work..I have used it while in the garage. Attempts at general conversaion in a trad or any real sporting machine seem best avoided if not to result in a possible sore throat..? I suspect if one lived in a location where sitting in lines of traffic was almost a way of life, then in car audio would perhaps be worthwhile option. I have to admit the one sound I miss is the sound of silence given I spent way too many decades in close proximity to aircraft, even at the edge of the CGA when Concorde was landing on one occasion, thus tinnitus has been a constant companion for about 9 years or so. There was a time when I was marginally into hi-fi the only remnants of which survive are my Linn stone speakers. Jeez, seems these days I am happy enough to listen to music via my lap-top... Philistine or what..???

@luddite ... ah, Concorde: I used to lecture regularly in Teddington, and had to stop for a 15-20 seconds just after 11am as Concorde flew over: nobody minded, it was a moment of pride. I once managed to be at the right/wrong spot on the M25 as she took off. These days there would be warnings on the overhead gantries! ... tinnitus. My constant companion for over a decade. I can manage & reduce it. After a lot of experimentation, a combination of a tuned sound played by hearing aids or headphones - audiocardio - and at night https://www.flareaudio.com/products/calmer-night do reduce my tinnitus: they seem to work for some people. & as for audio in my Aero - yes, with the hardtop on: I have Dynamat sound deadening in the footwell floors which does reduce the roadnoise from that direction. Even with sidepipes, at 70 on the motorway the standard amp & speakers can make themselves heard. Not sure I've ever bothered in the softtop or roof off though. Will

When I fully enjoy Hard Bop or Steely Dan on my Tannoy Canterbury at home... so my noise management is named Diana🙄 And it turns on very reliably. Another Steely Dan fan here.... Now played through recently purchased KEF LS60's. Like many on here, I suffer from tinnitus too - I used to have a recording studio (where Sennheiser was the only headphone choice) and that's what's caused it. I can't say I am too bothered about audio reproduction in my Morgan - I suspect it would be difficult to achieve high fidelity and not worth the effort.

Mild titatus, hearing aids and a Caroline who still complains about volume levels!
My hearing aids have a bluetooth capability, so in the Morgan I use the iPhone to stream music that is played through the hearing aids: It works well! I wouldn't call it HiFi, but it isn't at all bad.
