I honestly don't like the gas cap on the PlousFour very much. Now I have seen this picture on the net. There is the Le Mans fuel filler Cup attached to a PlusSix. Otherwise, I've only seen this filler Cup on the Le Mans Edition PlusFour. So I think the filler Cup was retrofitted. On the net you can find a lot about Le Mans filler Cup. Has anyone already made such a retrofit. Does anyone know where to get such a filler Cup for a Morgan PlusFour. Thanks for any feedback.
Thank you for the quick feedback. I can not imagine how that should fit. Not even with such an adapter. If I understand pure cosmetics correctly remains the original cap ?

No I havenβt personally but I know an owner that had it retro fitted by his supplying dealer. The same arrangement was used on the traditional bodied Plus 8 Aero.

The latest Trads used Newton filler caps & body flanges, but be careful as Mogs have an additional vent pipe which connects to a bespoke flange that Newton make just for the MMC
I suspect the Plus range will use the same, here's a photo from inside the spare wheel well looking at the filler neck from the vent side

Thank you Jon ... the picture is very helpful. If I interpret correctly, the screws hold the ring adapter. Should be six screws then.
This is the Aston style assembly of parts that fitted to later Trads (minus the bespoke breather tee) only Newton will know if it's compatible with the flush style neck you have on CX models
Thanks Jon ... I'm gathering all the information at the moment. As I said, I asked Newton in an email about retrofitting a CX. I don't expect an answer before next year.... sounds like a heck of a long time
As soon as I have an answer I will share it here. Forums are in my opinion give and take

Hi, I had this fitted to my new Plus Four when purchased last April. Krazy Horse fitted it , Berrybrook are known to fit it also. I will take a picture when I get a minute. π

I emailed NEWTON and that's what they got back to me. I'm very interested to know how the dealership did it.

Vicar, many people were using Photoshop however we stopped as they made a mess of it.
One of the members has kindly setup the tm-img site as per the video demo above. Other people use other sites as well.
If trying to post the image drives you nuts then personal message me (click on my image and look in the middle for personal message) and I can do it for you.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.
