Beautiful bit of the country a stones throw from the Trossachs, I have attended numerous classic shows and hillclimbs at Doune over the years. There used to be a car museum there too but that changed to some other purpose. They also had a nice cafeteria which may still be operational ..?
Looking at the location of the cottage, perhaps you could perform marshalling dutes from the kitchen... that would be a bit of comfort when it rains, as it oft times does hereabouts..
