Love the Max, hard not to.
The selection of accessories and colours on the orange one are very well chosen. The black and orange combo is very tasteful given some two colour cars I have seen really assault your eyes.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Can't imagine those headrest addons would stay on the car long.... They look good till they're stolen though.

It is very impressive that 18 years ago Morgan had the courage to build a fantastic car such as this Aeromax. This will never happen again, this good taste and originality. The interior and the dashboard is from another planet. Something similar to this in quality of woodwork etc in the CX would cost more than many thousands extra measured against what you get today.

Absolutely, I have long been of the opinion that the Aeromax will remain the zenith of Morgan production warts an all that shape is sublime.

Can't imagine those headrest addons would stay on the car long.... They look good till they're stolen though. You are absolutely right Nick, I've got them on mine. Haven't had them removed so far. But the passenger one is a little bit battered round the edges, following an escape attempt. Bit embarrassing as it exited just after an overtake, my resultant slowing down didn't impress the overtaken - understandably! They do help reduce the large gap between head and seat headrest. Now the edge is trapped under the seatbelt top mount on each seat to stop any further attempts for freedom.

It amuses me that the Aeromax and Plus 8 are, electromechanically, the same, yet the Max has an asking price of £100,000 more.

Peter J, yes that is true. But the Aeromax has a body that can't be compared and is an icon. BTW it's your call, but compared to the orange Plus 8 offered, I think your sale offer is too low, even if your Plus 8 has more miles on it. If we assume the best case scenario and experience new efuels, as Harry Metcalfe also suggests in one of his more recent videos, this would mean value stability for exotic cars like any ICE Morgan.

never forget the alu body of the Aeromax runs from the windscreen to the back of the car in one piece I had nightmares of scooters riding in to the back of the car meaning the car would be in Malvern for repairs knowing the people who made the body are probably not working there anymore... follow up of Morgan, aka the 'Herritage Department' is non-existing
be sure to feel comfortable driving it

Very good points for any prospective customer for the Max to bear in mind.

Hello to all of you,
some words to those two offered cars. The orange Plus 8 has been a former Geneva Demonstrator from MMC - as far as I know. The interior/dashboard and the Z8 steering wheel are specials from Morgan Park. As I heart the Plus 8 seems to be already sold. The Aeromax has the Morgan Park tubular exhaust manifold conversion with stainless steel catalysts. The Max offers some more BHP as normal. The interior is a Morgan Park Upgrade as well, made to customers wishes. Both cars come out of a collection...
Have a nice day Frank from Morgan Park Spectacular work Frank! Do you know if the Z8 wheel had an airbag? Will

I think another giggle is around "limited edition".
They made a nominal 100 AeroMax as a limited edition. They only sold about 30(?) Coupes but this does not gain the same cult status despite being less available.
(In truth I think the Max is more beautiful anyway)
So a limited edition does not mean it will be more exclusive.
(he said trying to raise the value of his Coupe....)

Dear Will or The Customer,
yes the original Z8 steering wheel has an airbag and yes the Z8 steering wheel in the Aeromax has an airbag as well.
Regards Frank fascinating - thanks Frank Will

a Coupe is way cooler than an Aeromax but that split-window design and the story of the Prince and... make the 'Max so special

Here is a RHD Aero Series 1 in Germany. Of course you don't know much without inspection, test drive and history, but the price seems attractive if the car is ok. It looks like a normal dealer for slightly better everyday cars who would rather make a quick turnover than charge a top price. https://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/...-cb7a-c9a2-90ea-8fb59eebcac4&ref=srp

Looks more like a cheap sheet metal trim. For the exhaust system, I don't know if only one pipe per side was original on the early Aeros. As I said, one would have to look at it in the metal.

Do you know if the Z8 wheel had an airbag? If I recall right the Z8 has a 2 stages airbag, while the original Raid steering wheel has a 1 stage ones. That means, for instance, that in CH you would need some very good friend, to have it registered for the MFK (MOT). Technically the change is doable, though.

Yes Heinz, single pipes either side was the usual choice, this one looks like it's had the Librands Sports 4 outlet system fitted.
