Interesting that this programme has been publicised at the same time that MMC is recruiting a "Visitor Experience Operations Manager" https://www.morgan-motor.com/wp-con...Experience-Operations-Manager-Feb-23.pdf
You will note "must be of smart and tidy appearance" (is that discriminatory ?), so when you turn up expect to see a Basil Fawlty-style sign "no riff-raff" smile

Also note that managing "zero hours contractors" is part of it, so tour guides etc. will no longer be direct employees, something that has been on the cards for a while.
This is an expanded role from one that was advertised last year.

Sadly, it is time to organise a Wake to celebrate the life of the "Old Morgan Company" and then accept the Morgan Sports Cars Ltd is another modern company managed to meet the needs of the private equity investors, not the slightly eccentric family and the very eccentric owners.

I had a lot of fun, but I doubt I'll ever go to the factory again.

In the last couple of years I've met and chatted with owners of both trad and CX owners. Can't say I've noticed any difference between the two.

Went to one of the Morgan Open mornings in June. Had a mooch round the carpark, and at some of those on display, and had a great natter with a few owners and forum members.

Visited the factory several times in the 80's and more recently in April last year. VERY different, but still enjoyed it and would probably go back in the next couple of years. Enjoyed the experience centre (my folks go quite regularly for a coffee) Again, met and had a enjoyable natter with a few owners and forum members.

I appreciate I'm a little blinkered based on my history, but I have no issues with the company development and change.

I’ve booked a ticket for this one as well. I also understand that Caffeine and Machine are holding a Best of British day in April, not sure when yet though.
