Hi all, I recall the rear diffusers for early Aero's coming from an S2/3/4 variant? Is that correct?
Was just having a think about something and might want to acquire one..
Thanks!

I think most were handmade. Depending on model the attachment needs to be done carefully due to the position of the fuel tank (position changes from 1 to 2 due to rear impact regs for the USA on the S2) I think the bottom of the tank is close up to the rear undertray and so a sharp screw could increase your fuel bills and shorten your life.

Thanks Alistair, I could have sworn the factory supplied them at one point but maybe I am mistaken. Don't worry, if I go down that route I won't drill into the fuel tank!

I don't think they were offered as an option. I know that a couple of the dealers did do short runs. Try Richard Thorne as I think he did some ? Some of the nicest ones I saw were home "procured". Shooter had a very nice one I think possibly on the yellow/black S4 he had ? ![[Linked Image]](http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/ubb/download/Number/11674/filename/Diffuser.JPG) I think a search on the forum for aero diffuser might bring a few up. I've got the same one in black on my S4 Nick, the build sheet indicates it as an extra possibly along with the side exhausts. The Rear Diffuser Kit is listed on my sheet with No: POE/A8/162.

Bit of an update - managed to get hold of a genuine one from the factory, turns out they used to supply them as an option or to dealers as an accessory.
Sadly for anyone else who may want one... it was the last one.
Now I just need to decide if I want to integrate it with the quad pipes, or whether I do something different/side pipe route.

Poke side exits.
Always sound offbeat to me.
What you really ought to do is keep the quads but remove the secondary CAT 😃

Nick - it looks as though, if you keep the quad pipes ( which I personally think look great... ) you would have to lose two of the strakes from the diffuser The diffuser seems to have been designed to accommodate either two rear pipes or no rear pipes (e.g. side exit option).... James
