I use Bilt Humber. They do a good range of products. Any overspray of the underseal etc can be cleaned off with white spirit. It does not harden and chip so has a sort of self healing property.

They were normally based on a wax oxidate John, but I have been out of the chemical industry for a long time and technology marches on.

Lanoguard sounds like it is based on lanolin , which is the oil derived from sheeps wool during the washing process.

Yes lanolin & I'm guessing they emusify it like cooking marg so it sets up a bit as the water evaporates. Just like the camping marg we made in Kenya though with nicer fat in the kenyan case.
