Anyone know if the CX LED headlights need beam deflectors? I know with some modern LED headlights the beam pattern is flat and straight so that deflectors are not needed. I can't find anything in the Plus Four handbook. There are no guidelines or clues on the headlight glass as to where deflectors could be placed, I suppose it would mean experimenting with the headlights shininig on a wall. It would be nice not to be interrogated by French police!

I exported my Plus Four to the Netherlands 18 monthsw ago. Aparently there is no software option (as there is on my Volvo) to switch the beams to continental and I was unable to find a deflector or block out solution. Cost me quite a bot to buy the replacement headlights for driving on the right! Sorry no help!

Hi Capt Aero, I am just piggy backing your post as we have exactly the same question for our Plus Six.. I asked our local dealer a month or so ago and at that time they did not know either. I am guessing that each led headlight will need one or two sets of blanking stickers, as the led main head light is effectively divided in half, one half being dip and and the other main beam. It would be one blanking sticker per light if its just dip that deflects to the UK nearside or two per light if main beam also deflects to near side. I havent checked the pattern against a wall yet but its possible main beam is central and flat.

There is no adjustment in the headlights so the solution is a pair of blanking stickers.
I took my Plus Four to BHM who didn’t at that point have a certain answer and together we checked the beam pattern, and so located the correct position for fitting a pair (trimmed to the round section only) of the widely available stickers to mask the dipped beam left throw. You can do the same easily by parking close to a wall or garage door. The kick up in the beam pattern should be quite clearly seen. It’s perhaps a rough and ready method but is effective (and I doubt any Police officer on the continent is going to take issue if you have made the effort and tried to get it right). The adhesive is pretty strong so they should stay in place for your trip.

All the aftermarket dedicated LED headlamps I've seen are handed. The dipped beam cutoff on mine is sharply defined and clearly favours driving on the left.

I have LED on Belle and fit beam deflectors. The French and Dutch authorities seemed happy. We used St Malo and Hoek van Holland.

I used Eurolites on a recent European trip in my Six.
Went with position 204 on the guide attached & all seems good.
