This piece of exciting parking outside a hotel in Bath was in yesterday's papers. How did he get it in there ? (and how will they get it out ??)
I read the report and the car was deposited at 0430 so I think it is a fair assumption to make that it was not on the way to an early work shift

When No1 daughter was doing her Masters at Uni we often had lunch or dinner there - proper old fashioned service levels without the fawning, a lovely charming old place with alternative parking now it would seem. The only downside to Bath is that being situated in a natural bowl and the air pollution levels were diabolical when we were visiting, the comparison from living half a mile from the sea in the countryside didn't help I suppose where we either smell salt in the air or cattle outfall which is ok in our book. No problem compared to this one...

I was having a quick peek at the BBC news page today and to my surprise there was yet another fact free article about the Flintoff crash. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-65056723Mention of the date being Dec 2022 No mention of what he was driving (good) Picture of him in good health driving something totally different Why does this story keep coming up, I don't get it. If you look at the article it looks like someone had to turn in their homework and just did it at the last minute on the bus as they went into the office. How standards have fallen, it's not as if they did not have access to the program given it is on their label. If anything I would have expected them to have content that others could not have already covered. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2023/03/24/Flint-off.gif)

I think Auntie is probably finally realising that the tyre shredding crap they still insist on producing has finally come to the end of it's life and it's time for some well researched articles like Bamfords progress with hydrogen fuelled ICE for instance.
Less of the laddish nonsense and more research.
They were lucky not to have killed the Hamster X2 or Freddie - quit now while you are ahead.

That would be nice but Stig was on the radio today & apparently top gear is a very expensive program. I suspect the accountants want savings.

Top Gear makes the Beeb a lot of money, so I would have thought the accountants will want it back on air as soon as possible!

Yes I agree but I'm wondering if they are reviewing the whole format having realised what a close call this was once more and of course litigation may yet have a large part to play in this sorry tale for Freddie which could cost them an awful lot of license payers money.
This story still has legs, but as long as Freddie comes out the other end intact I couldn't care less about the program per se, it takes zero talent to destroy cars and tyre shred so I haven't watched it for around 5 years..
