Thanks for the pictures John, that Mew Gull is a very rare beast and you have just caught the rudder of the Comet Racer.
I had a flight in the AA Dragon Rapide in the early sixties at Little Snoring where we had a Rally/Flyin -they used it for road reports back in the day. It was interesting comparing it to the Tiger, a vastly different experience but with similar genetic power units.

Love Shuttleworth and tend to go once a month or so - we're members of the Shuttleworth Vintage Aviation Society so get free entry. The gardens are really nice and peaceful to have a wander round too. AND they do a fabulous vegan breakfast  Plan to volunteer there when I retire. I'm also an SVAS member and live close enough to consider Old Warden to be a local cafe. This week it is back to old style operation, so you can drive in the old entrance and use the cafe and shop without paying, though museum and gardens are still covered by the same admission rather than separate tickets.
