I'm not getting fuel to the carbs.
Replaced fuel pump, no juice!
Sucking on line is fruitless.
Air Pressure didn't find leaks in line/tank. Line is clear.
Disconnected the pickup line at the top of the tank to reveal a 90 degree fitting, with nothing inside to get to the petrol.
What should be attached to the inside of the fitting to reach near the bottom of the tank?

Morgan Spares says there should be a pickup line attatched to the 90 degree fitting, extending to the bottom of the tank.
Should I be worried about the old pickup flopping around inside the tank?

If you take out the fuel sender the opening may be wide enough to find a way to fish the pipe out ... if I remember from mine the pipe was a length of metal tube.... can't see it doing much if it is left in the tank if removal proves too difficult

Could you not use a cheaply available borescope camera in conjunction with extended pickup claws to retrieve loose pickup pipe?

If it was plastic it might have dissolved in E10 or even E5. I have had that problem with my garden power tools.

Can't imagine using E-anything in any of my vehicles. Can't get anything but E fuel here. E10 or E5. E5 is supposed to be near enough ethanol free in some ares of the UK but I'm not convinced. I've fitted a stainless tank, and ethanol resistant hose so no concerns and not noticed any issues. I use E10 mostly, with the occasional squirt of E5 when I'm feeling flush.
