If any of you currently on SORN are thinking of re-taxing in April, do it TODAY, it's your last chance at the old rates (which increase tomorrow) however you can pay today and defer the start date to 1st April

For example the standard rate for 12 months tax is now £180 (up from £165)
and Lux Tax also goes up to £390 from £355.

Many thanks for that tip, very useful. I’ve just taxed my Plus 4 from tomorrow at the existing rate of £220 for twelve months. The new rate is £240.
