More news at last re the satnav fitting Roger invented.

My client can print these now. Matt black. He's made some samples and the favourite has a 17mm ball which is removeable for possible future additions like maybe a phone holder.

Older cars where the dash is up against the roll rather than recessed, have a shorter lower arm on the clip.

He's not trying to make money, he's doing it as a favour for me. They come out at £20 plus postage.
Anyone interested please let me know and I'll send you his contact details.
Nick

Thanks everyone for all the interest and PMs.
I'll be in touch as soon as I can speak to my client.
We tried magnets but found they were just not reliable enough over rough ground (that's every road around here!)
Also, the ball allows a flexible angle, which the magnet didn't.
Older Mogs have the dash right up against the roll so have a shoreter lower clip length.mlater mogs have the dash recessed a bit, so the clip has a longer lower leg.
Lastly, these are individually printed so if I was planning to take it on and off the leather frequently I would line the clip with something to protect the leather. These come unlined.
