With the hood cover/boot in place, the periscope/cobra means the high-level brake light is still visible.

Oh, we love that surroundings very much. Bolzano is the place where "our" Bianchi's originated from! Good to hear from your dealer, and they take care of the paint damage too, I suppose? Have a nice trip further, I assume you pass Austria today!?

I first saw the LED's in the hood when on the factory tour last year, and TBH I think the "cobra" rear brake light looks cool shades compared to the LED's

Me too, especially with the chrome bezel that Peter has fitted above

L don't know what the legal requirements regarding high level stoplights in the UK are but in New Zealand they have to be mounted as high as possible and IN THE CENTRE of the vehicle. Hence the new Plus Four with the two high level stoplights were deemed to be non-compliant and a central stoplight was required to be fitted.

Of course, the paint shading is also done. I already have experience in this. We are still until tomorrow, Saturday in Bolzano and then go over the Stilfser Joch home in the Black Forest

Any connection with Bianchi motorcycles Ruut? I recall an Italian friend with an ex army 250cc Bianchi. It had a "marching" gear selected by a dedicated lever for parades etc.
