Alistair,
well written.
Tarka was reluctantly sold mainly because as Caroline and I age it became more and more difficult to use. During April I bought lottery tickets in the hope of winning enough to make keeping her financially viable, but it was not to be. She has been sold very locally to a great car nut who has been looking for a good Plus 8 for 2 years.

Glad she has gone to a good home Peter, she is a lovely example.

You had a very nice car, Peter. It must have been a tough decision to make. Coïncidentally, yesterday I sold my Plus4. A decision that took me a year or so. I loved the car, but after a change of job I could not take it to work anymore due to the area I work in. And driving it on a Saturday afternoon just for the fun of driving did not feel as good as it used to, since my mindset has changed a bit regarding fossil fuels and climate change during the last few years. I have a feeling I will return to Morgan ownership in the future, probably by the time they go electric (or to hydrogen?) and my work situation changes again, but at the moment it just does not fit with my life and mindset.
I really enjoyed the discussions on the forum and the enormous wealth of information it provides and will keep on reading to keep up.
