My car is car #60 of 60.

The car is Iris Blue; historically interesting as it was the original colour of TOK 258, the original Plus 4 Super Sports which took the Class win for Morgan at Le Mans 24-Hours in 1962. The 2011 Plus 4 SuperSports pays hommage to Chris Lawrence and Richard Shepherd-Barron's 2.0ltr winner. Whilst the car has the standard Plus 4 SS yellow roundels fitted, these can be removed with ease, should the new owner prefer the car without them.











On top of the standard Plus 4 SS specification car #60 has the Morgan Aero Racing Race Pack fitted. Part of this pack is the Safety Devices rear roll cage (the new owner could remove this should they wish), 4-point Sabelt harnesses and Aero Screens. Plumbed in Fire Extinguisher, Rain Lights, External Cut-Off Switches and performance tyres round off this pack. This pack is a £4,995 option.

Other optional extras included are: -

* Small Driving Lights
* Aero Racing Side Screen Bags
* Full Tonneau Cover (able to be opened just to the drivers side and is trimmed to fit around the roll bar)
* Photographic Build Record

On top of the paid options, I also asked MMC to deviate from the standard specification and optional extras for 3 items.

* The car has shoulder belts fitted as well as the harnesses. This means you can use the shoulder 3-point for road use and if you choose to drive the car on road or track in a spirited manner, you can opt for the 4-point harnesses.

* I asked for Blue Sabelt harnesses. Standard is red but I opted for Blue to match the car.

* I had a custom aluminium cover made for the fire extinguisher in the passenger foot well. This means the canister doesn't get damaged and also gives the passenger a nice place to rest their feet.

This Plus 4 SuperSports is like new and has 95-miles (it was delivered from the factory with 50 pre-delivery miles); therefore, my use has been limited to 2 local jaunts in August. Since then, it has not been driven and is mint.

I can do nothing but agree with you. My drive in the factory car convinced me just how brilliant the +4 SS is and selling it is a head over heart decision.



I believe so. Many have tipped these cars for future collector status and I believe the spec of this car and the number makes it a desirable package.

I have considered that but I'm not sure the nuisance outweighs the gain. Last time I put a special car on Pistonheads it seemed like someone opened the asylum and pointed all the crazies at my advertisement.
