was thinking of going with my son and looking at the various web sites there seems to be lots of companies offering various packages. Would prefer a hotel but was wondering what peoples thoughts were who have been previously. Also, I see you can pay around £150 for a couple of laps. is this worth doing? many thanks T.

Good Morning Taffy - yes there are a lot of companies offering trips, but I suggest that first you contact the MSCC travel experts. Quentin English. travel@mscc.co.uk Quentin is arranging accommodation + ferries for the Morgan community.

Hotel or Camping. The first year I went (2006) we stayed in a hotel, last time (2008) it was camping. Completely difference experiences. Good atmosphere in the hotel with a whole range of people. Camping is beside the track, and you are in with the action 24/7.

Track drive. I have also done this twice before (it did only cost £80), and we got three laps of fast driving (well it is in the 4/4). If you are a Le Mans fan - like me - it is a must. BTW Quentin Longish is not charging £150. innocent

Taffy; I second Steve's comments, but would just add that if you find it is too late to book through Quentin, it is worth having a look at Grandstand Motorsports catalogue. I have no association with them, but have heard good reports about their trips.
Hope to see you there.

Another option is www.continentalcartours.co.uk they are doing hotel or camping option. Usual disclaimer- no commercial interest etc. Good luck with whatever you choose, GerryWal.
