After a rather long gestation period I finally picked up my M3W on Saturday (18th Feb), it was waiting in the trim shop:

Complete with front number plate, that may have to go! cop

Final briefing from Steve Morris:

And into the rain, not too heavy initially and then the heavens opened... gloomy grin2

It did abate a bit by the time we hit the M4, but it was still cold and wet:

A quick wash to get rid of the traffic grime:

And then it was put away with its more grown-up sibling: smile

Pleased with my engine-turned dash:

That's it for now guys!

Wow, that looks so great!

Placed next to the SS, it looks so skinny, lol.

Morgan 3W production is going on apace and there are cars everywhere in the factory:

I hope it doesn't have a chequered career! hide

There's a couple of photos of a famous (well, on TM!) personality's trike in those somewhere...

I like the Aero Coupe in the background here:

Nice colour, but I forgot to turn on the flash again! doh

It was good to meet for the first time Jay and also Harry & Edward, though due to the tours not much time to talk to anyone. Also to see some of the unusual suspects, nice to see you Phil (and Bev) and others, you know who you are! grin2

Now the last couple of cars, a reverse duo-tone Aero SS with a red leather interior - it makes a nice change:

Okay, I feel rather supid for asking this, but in the photo where you're given instructions, I notice that there's only checquered on the right hand side. Is there some sort of reason for that (historical, safety or something) or did you just decide it looked "pretty"?
