Afraid to say, it'll never be seen again - a trophy in some rich criminals garage.
Rather like the painting that was stolen years ago from St Albans Abbey. Decidedly unique and of such a size that alarm bells would be ringing if somebody ever tried to sell it on the legitimate market.

Afraid to say, it'll never be seen again - a trophy in some rich criminals garage. That's almost certainly true. My cousin Tom had his Brough Superior pinched from outside a cinema in the late 60s. A couple of decades later he got a call from the cops in the US who had recovered the bike when they raided the house of a gang boss. Being such a rare bike they had little trouble tracking down it's rightful owner. In the intervening period the Brough hadn't turned a wheel, it had just sat there as part of a collection.

Sadly, the car is probably long gone from the UK and now residing in what I believe is now referred to as "New Europe" Ah! You mean to the same place as several hundred outboard motors (including mine) stolen from the Italian northern lakes.
