same wording from the ad on the MMC roadster page:

"Roadster SPORT

GALLERY PLACEHOLDER

The Roadster remains the flagship Morgan ‘classic’ sports car. From
November 2011 the enticing louvered bonnet of this iconic car will
encompass a new experience all together; the Ford 3.7 litre V6 engine.
The new Roadster will feature a 6 speed transmission and an estimated
power output of over 260bhp in a car with a total weight less than
950kg. As you would expect the highest quality materials, real leathers
and true coach built aluminium body come as standard…."

When I got my car I had the dealer put the speedo in front of the steering wheel -- I figured I wanted to be sure what I was telling the "Boys in Blue" what I was actually doing!! The mistake I made was to have the rev counter on the far left where the speedo was. I will now try and swap the rev counter and other gauges so the rev counter is on the right of the central section. This will be easily readable as one doesn't use the Right hand lower quadrant of the rev counter very often!! The gauges will then be easily read as they are on Easter's car.

Cheers!

I agree, it´s probably the Geneva Showcar. I saw it in the metal. It also had a spare wheel. Some say MMC was not sure to make the R-Sport with or without it, so they collected reactions on the fair. BTW the spare wheel was not a 205. It was a 4/4 165 wheel which looks neater than a more protruding 205.

They've mentioned November, but who knows. Perhaps late this year or at the beginning of next? Some changes must be easier than other, or compared to completely new models; but still, a new engine is clearly more complicated than rearranging the lights at the back or similar in a new MY.

They do seem to have their hands full now; smile with the new Roadster, the new +8, the three-wheelers, the Aero SS still in production, the limited 75th anniversary 4/4, and the +4 SS, though perhaps finished, and all on top of other production and also the EvaGT. They must be quite busy nowadays. juggle

not a lover of the dash its to bland for me . As for the leather I have tried for 24 year to keep my leather as brand new . If I purchased one with distressed leather that would mean many more years of trying to keep it brand new so it would look old , figure that one out I cant. Still I would not mind a crack at it a bit of try befor you buy.

It can get confusing though as I found myself glancing at the fuel gauge instead of the speedo today as I passed through a speed camera zone while out on a run today doh . Only for a moment though. Fortunately I was only doing 30mph notworthy oldgit .

which is why I would not buy a car advertised as 'concourse'. There is little chance of me being able to buy new irked
