The MOG Mag editorial team were at the factory today with Steve Morris and came round the factory with us. A bunch of interesting guys who are obviously spending a lot of time at the factory and after meeting them, I'm pleased I took the plunge and subscribed.

Hi,
did the first issue of MogMag pop up anywhere so far?
Their website still does not give any clue other than the internal ad promotion.
I had send the editor a couple of questions, as I had been offered the "VIP 18 month subscription" too ... but it took them almost 3 weeks (and past the subscription deadline) to answer frown

I told them to send me a free copy & if it was good I would take up the offer.
The response was silence

Launch date is tomorrow (7th March).

The VIP offer email said that subscribers will get their issue "when it hits the shelves" so I'm expecting it to land on my doormat tomorrow morning.

Interestingly, I applied very early on but did not receive a free subscription. Furthermore, I did not receive a 'you were unlucky' e-mail, nor a 'VIP offer' e-mail. I did, however, receive a 'we sent you a VIP offer, here is a second chance to have the offer' mail. I always check my SPAM filter, so I know nothing went in there; therefore, I am left to deduce one of two things: (A) I was never sent the first e-mails or (B) the magazine publisher has an issue with their Email Marketing software.

As for this thread, I'm quite surprised to read the contents of it. However, perhaps it also explains why I have received a call, asking me if I'd like to speak with the publisher of the magazine. At first I questioned where the value in that conversation was but based on some of the opinions voiced in this thread, it now seems obvious. When I have time, I will take the call (or the meeting) and will let you know my findings - and attempt to clear up some of the confusion - until then, as per the culture of TM, I'd ask everyone to keep an open mind.

What should just drop through my letterbox a few minutes ago...but MOG Mag!

First glance it looks very glossy......and a LOT of adverts but I'll pass judgement after its settled down to a few more editions. One thing I did pick up glancing through it...well two actually!

Our very own Frank is featured with his forthcoming Round Britain trip and Charles Morgan is entering the Gumball 3000 Rally in May in a Three Wheeler!!
